We have a fantastic military. We're at war. We have terrorists breathing down our necks (or actually, they're fitting the nooses around our necks). It is absolutely crazy for Mr. Obama to ask the military to cut spending right now.

Obama Alters Labor Policies... and the future of our country
Given a choice between hiring a union worker and a non-union worker, which would you choose? What is the point in having a union these days? There is a law to protect every possible transgression that has ever been or ever will be.
What is the difference between a Union where everyone at the top hauls in big money and feathers their own nest and big business where those at the top haul in big money and feather their own nest?

Somebody enlighten me...
The following is a letter from Ralph Nadar to Rush Limbaugh. It sounds rather wacky to me. Is he saying that Rush should pay rent because radio goes out over airwaves and the airwaves belong to the country? Hate to be dense, but this one stumped me.
Rush is going to be on vacation all next week. I may have to wait to find out unless one of you in blogland happens to know more about this than I... which wouldn't be a high bar to reach given my total lack of understanding of how broadcasting works.

Help stop the pork laden government takeover bill (stimulus package)

*Under cover of the media's endless coverage of a airlinen incident in NY, the Senate gave passage to the remaining $350 billion in T.A.R.P. expenditures.
Since it would have been necessary for both House and Senate to vote down this measure, the funding is now assured and already in process. Just to be certain their tight vote passed, Burris (Obama's secret selection to replace himself in the Senate) was sworn in early that day and Joe Biden withheld his own resignation from the Senate until day's end, after the vote. You won't see reports of such maneuvers on MSM, but we've every reason to expect them to continue. Speaker Pelosi, for instance, appears to be planning a re-interpretation of House Rules to serve the purpose of "dead of night" measures to circumvent opposition. Rumors indicates she hopes to start taxing Americans Retirement funds, while evidence is clear she remains a strong backer of Acorn:

*Of even greater concern, however, are the currently nebulous contents of the "Obama Recovery Plan." Expected to multiply the initial costs of T.A.R.P. this package of ten bills is currently a mere shell for the insertion of who knows just what. Apparently, all the Obama rhetoric has yet to be magically transformed into substance. By contrast, another bill also introduced on January 7, to discourage teen pregnancy is four pages long - offering an amount of detail greater than the 10 sketchy Recovery bills combined! Yet the headers of this package portend sweeping changes in almost every aspect of American life. One, for instance, with a header related to "Fairness" for the Middle Class (?) includes, on its short list of potential laws, a brief reference to CardCheck (Pelosi and Acorn's approach to storming small businesses with mandated unions, initiated with the peer pressure of no secret ballot.)

What we may ask is the head of the Banking Committee thinking to sponsor a bill extending Obama's term in office - with no limits?! (Please note; Rep. U.S. Supreme Court agrees to hear voting rights case
Two months after Barack Obama's election as the nation's first African-American president, the US Supreme Court has agreed to examine whether a key portion of a law designed to protect minority voting rights is unconstitutional. The high court announced on Friday that it would take up the case.

"Secondary" or "Indirect" Affiliates of the George Soros Network
I'm part of a group on Facebook called "Expose Soros". I'll be sharing stuff with you at times on Soros and other issues. Talk about conspiracies and money control. It has long been one of my beliefs that people "see" problems in others or create problems because it's the way they act in life, the way they handle things. I'm not saying that very well. As an example, if I were the kind of person who cut deals, used my friends, lusted after power, then I would automatically "assume" that others cut deals, used friends and lusted after power. Any actions they took would be seen through the prism of my belief system, the way that I would handle a situation. Thus, even though the other person may truly be acting for good reasons with high moral motivation, I'm never going to believe it. I'm going to think the worst of them.
In the case of Democrats and / or libs, they attribute all kinds of nasty motivation and goals to conservatives and Republicans simply because that's the way they operate. However, because they believe themselves to be acting in the best interest of the world (or their cause), they justify their actions while slamming those of Republicans / conservatives.
Soros is a prime example. He does everything that he accuses those big bad Republicans of doing, but it's OK, cause he "cares".
I once knew a guy who ran for local office to rid the County Commission of special interest voting. He hated it that they were voting on land deals for their friends. However, when his Kiwanis group wanted him to change the laws so they could put up a tower in a residential area, he was all for it. Media Matters for America: Seeking to "systematically monitor [the media] for conservative misinformation" and to discredit anything that "forwards the conservative agenda," this group, which has intimate ties to Hillary Clinton, works very closely with the Soros-backed Center for American Progress. It is heavily funded by Democracy Alliance, of which Soros is a major financier.
Moving Ideas Network: This coalition of more than 250 leftwing activist groups is a partner organization of the Soros-backed Center for American Progress. Promoting the candidacy of leftwing politicians, the Moving Ideas Network was originally a project of the Soros-backed American Prospect and, as such, received indirect funding from the Open Society Institute. In early 2006, The American Prospect relinquished control of the Moving Ideas Network
New Organizing Institute: Created by the Soros-funded MoveOn.org, this group "trains young, technology-enabled political organizers to work for progressive campaigns and organizations."
Schumann Center for Media and Democracy: PBS broadcaster and Schumann Center President Bill Moyers is a trustee of the Open Society Institute's Board of Directors. The Schumann Center shares many of OSI's agendas.
Service Employees International Union: The current President of SEIU is the former New Leftist Andrew Stern, who sat on the Executive Committee of the Soros-created America Coming Together.
Sierra Club: This organization's Executive Director, Carl Pope, co founded America Coming Together, in whose creation Soros played a major role.
Think Progress: This "project" of the American Progress Action Fund, which is a "sister advocacy organization" of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress and Campus Progress, seeks to transform "progressive ideas into policy through rapid response communications, legislative action, grassroots organizing and advocacy, and partnerships with other progressive leaders throughout the country and the world." Think Progress promotes an agenda identical to that of the left wing of the Democratic Party.
Vote for Change: Coordinated by the political action committee of the Soros-funded MoveOn.org, Vote for Change was a group of 41 musicians and bands that performed concerts in several key election "battleground" states during October 2004, to raise money in support of Democrat John Kerry's presidential bid.
Working Families Party: Created in 1998 to help push the Democratic Party toward the left, this front group for the Soros-funded ACORN functions as a political party that promotes ACORN-friendly candidates.
In the case of Democrats and / or libs, they attribute all kinds of nasty motivation and goals to conservatives and Republicans simply because that's the way they operate. However, because they believe themselves to be acting in the best interest of the world (or their cause), they justify their actions while slamming those of Republicans / conservatives.
Soros is a prime example. He does everything that he accuses those big bad Republicans of doing, but it's OK, cause he "cares".
I once knew a guy who ran for local office to rid the County Commission of special interest voting. He hated it that they were voting on land deals for their friends. However, when his Kiwanis group wanted him to change the laws so they could put up a tower in a residential area, he was all for it.
